Users-Groups.com allows you to connect with others who share the same interests and ideas, through our web site or through any email program. In order to create a Users-Groups.com Forum or Community of Practice, you must contact us.
For example, a Community of Practice is "recipes", and the forums are "short-order", "gourmet", and "vegetarian".
The associated web site and forums would be:

Joining a forum
You may select which forums, from any Community of Practice, you wish to participate; however, the Community of Practice owner may have established a qualification profile which you must match prior to your being allowed to participate.
The information requested from you for the qualification profile for a forum in a Community of Practice is under the auspices of the Community of Practice owner, and Users-Groups.com shall be held harmless and not liable for any and all misuse of any information collected.
Creating a Community of Practice and/or a forum
In order to create a Users-Groups.com Forum or Community of Practice, you must contact us.
As the creator of a Community of Practice, you will be responsible for constraining the content to the Community of Practice.
As a requestor of a new forum for a Community of Practice that you do not own, you are merely suggesting a new forum, and should it be created, the Community of Practice owner will be responsible for managing the content, not you as the requestor.
- In using Users-Groups.com Forums and its various tools, you may make some of your personal information public. You may also choose to share some of your personal information with other Group members.
- Your full email address will be visible to the initiator and moderator(s) of any Community of Practice owner to which you belong, and possibly all forum participants.
- When you share files, post messages, create polls, or add bookmarks to a Group to which you belong, your email address will be posted along with the file, message, poll or bookmark.
- If you post a message to a forum, your full name and email address may be visible to Group members who have chosen to have their messages sent to their email account.
- Full headers of the email message of all postings can also be seen by anyone accessing the messages.
- If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Each forum has it's own charter and guidlines. It is your responsiblility to be aware and agree to forum charter and guidlines for which you particpate.
- Users-Groups.com IS NOT responsible and shall be held harmless and not liabl for any and all real and potential damages from your use of services provided or content obtained or actions you take from Users-Groups.com.
If you are a Community of Practice owner, then you must contact us to terminate a Community of Practice.
If you are a forum participant, then you may control your profile at your discretion (please see the Community of Practice specific web page for details).
Postings submitted become permanent fixtures of this Internet site.
